Answering the Call: A Home for Faith in Ukraine
Sometimes, a “call” isn’t a loud shout; it’s the quiet, persistent realization that our brothers and sisters are standing in the cold, waiting for a place to belong.
In a small village in Ukraine, a faithful community has been “making do.” They gather for worship in a government administrative building—meaning they can only meet when the schedule allows. Even then, they huddle together in a space with no heating and no running water. Despite the freezing temperatures and the uncertainty of the times, their numbers are growing.
They don’t need a cathedral. They just need a church home.
We are answering the call to help this congregation purchase a permanent “House of Prayer.” We have found a building that will serve as their sanctuary, a hub for aid, and a place of warmth.
The Goal: $10,000
We are looking to raise $10,000 to cover the entire project:
- $6,000 to purchase the property outright.
- $4,000 for essential repairs, including the installation of heating, water systems, and interior renovations.
