More Than Just a Cup: Sundial Serves at Share the Table

Sundial Serves

If you’ve stopped by Sundial recently, you know our team is pretty good at keeping the caffeine flowing. But this past Sunday, we traded the latte art for something a bit heartier.

We were incredibly blessed to lend a helping hand to Share the Table for their Sunday Night Meal, an experience that left our hearts just as full as our neighbors’ bellies.

On the Menu: 250 Bowls of Comfort

Our staff took the lead on Sunday from purchasing the ingredients to prepping the kitchen and serving the final plates. To beat the evening chill, we decided on a classic comfort meal:

  • Hot beef chili (the ultimate Sunday comfort food)
  • Fresh celery and peanut butter
  • Crackers
  • Oatmeal pies for a little something sweet

By the end of the night, we had the privilege of serving more than 250 of our neighbors. There’s something special about a hot meal that brings people together, and seeing the smiles across the room was a powerful reminder of why we love this community.

Why Sundial Serves 🤍

To be honest, it’s easy to get caught up in the rush of the workday. Taking a few hours to step behind a different counter and look our neighbors in the eye while handing them a warm meal was a huge perspective shift for us.

“Sundial Serves” is more than just a catchy name; it’s our commitment to partnering with local nonprofits that work tirelessly all year long. While we set out to bless others, our team walked away feeling like the lucky ones. Preparing and serving this meal together bonded us in a way that only shared service can.

Thank You, Share the Table!

A huge thank you to Share the Table for the incredible work you do continuously and for giving us the opportunity to jump in and help. We are honored to play a small part in your mission. Check out volunteer opportunities on their website to help serve our local community.

Prioritizing community,
