The Heart of Sundial: Our 2025 Community Impact

At Sundial Coffee & Tea, we believe our mission isn’t just served in a cup—it’s shared through connection, right here in coastal North Carolina and beyond. This year, thanks to your loyalty and support we are incredibly proud to look back and share the measurable impact we made through our Sundial Gives Back program.

We are delighted to report that in 2025, Sundial contributed direct financial support to local and international causes, plus even more in in-kind donations like gift cards and merch to local organizations.

Plus hours of community service right here in Pender County: for example, our staff took an afternoon off from the shop to help Share the Table provide food to those in need within our community.

Here is a look at the incredible organizations we supported season by season:

A Year of Giving: Quarterly Partner Highlights

Winter	Lauren’s Hope  (Supporting local families)	We donated $270 from the sale of our special Blueberry Matcha Latte. We also hosted a successful diaper drive and sold raffle tickets to help them secure essential equipment.
Spring	Karen Beasley Sea Turtle Hospital & Rehabilitation Center  (Saving sea turtles)	Your love for the coast showed up! We donated $360 from every delicious Topsail Turtle Latte sold in June, providing much-needed funds for their rehabilitation efforts.
Summer	Share the Table  (Fighting local food insecurity)	We contributed $300 from our Strawberry Tart sales. Our team also spent a Sunday providing, preparing, and serving dinner for over 200 guests, representing an in-kind service value of approximately $700.
Fall	Safe Haven of Pender County  (Domestic Violence support)	We donated $400 from a special raffle draw. We also distributed purple ribbons for Domestic Violence Awareness Month, encouraging visibility and conversation within our community.

Deepening Our Commitment: Sponsorships & Service

Beyond our quarterly partners, we dedicated resources to supporting key local events and mission-driven organizations that align with the heart of Sundial:

• Local Event Sponsorships: We were proud Bronze Level Sponsors of OceanFest ($700) and a Tidepool Friend sponsor of the Oysterpalooza benefit event ($500).
• In-Kind Service: For the Haunted Hundred Bike Race benefiting the Sea Turtle Hospital, our team provided a full coffee bar for 200 bikers (valued at $500), helping racers start strong.
• Global and Local Support: We also contributed $700 to Audio Scripture Ministries (providing audio Bibles globally), $500 to Answering the Call, $100 to Coastal Elementary, and a small monetary donation to support the Surf City Police Department.
